Cooltex® Plus

Cooltex® Plus is a high tech fabric that has been engineered to keep wearers dry and comfortable. Our new fabric is knitted from multi-channel polyester fibres that speed moisture to the outer surface, maximising evaporative and cooling performance.

Multi-Channel Polyester Fibres

What makes Cooltex® Plus so special is the shape of the fibre. Unlike other fibres, Cooltex® Plus fibres aren’t round. They are almost rectangular in shape with multiple channels running down the length. It is the shape that allows moisture to be drawn away quickly from the skin. The moisture wicks away through the multi fibre channels, dispersing it across the fabric and out to a wider surface area for enhanced evaporation.

 

As the technology is in the yarn and not a finish that is applied to the fabric, wash and wear will not degrade the wicking properties.

Printability

Due to the yarn having multi channel fibres running down the length, this increases the surface area, making the micro mesh compact. This is the perfect base for printing! See below for some examples.
